No one told me that in between my dream of being a global beauty sensation that I would be a lost teen mother , homeless , rebellious , and devastated .
No one told me that I would be remedial , and almost a Scholastic failure , walk across a high-school stage five months pregnant ; and blow a full scholarship to a major university .
Adversely no one told me that I would overcome all of that ; become a Christian author of three books , motivational speaker , plus-sized model , mother to a child that ranked in the top 5 % in academic brilliance in our city by the time he turned seven . No one told me that in 2017 , I would be the first child of both my father and mother to own their own business .

Meet the beautiful , Mrs . Shatwaina Lester , creator of one of the first diverse , Plus sized beauty pageants in the southeast .
A Native of Chicago , Il , Shatwaina Adrienne Lester , also known as , S . Adrienne was born to Shou ’ Na Talley and the late Antwain Funches . Shatwaina was educated in the Cook , Kankakee , Walker County , Birmingham and Fairfield city school systems , graduating from Ensley High School , with the prestigious class of 2004 . Later furthering her education at Miles College where she met her husband of 4 years Carl Lester and The University of North Alabama with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies .
Shatwaina has worked professionally in the healthcare industry for over 8 years ’ operating as a patient focused and organized individual skilled in assisting patients with various healthcare needs as well as serving all cultural and ethnic groups .
She is also the Founder of Cysters in Teal , educating and advocating for women living with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome . One of the many areas that allow her to further , empower , and help women and girls build character is through the art of pageantry . Rebranding under S . Adrienne Productions , Inc . She is the Franchise Owner , producer , and Executive Director of the , Alabama All World Beauties Pageant , Alabama Man of Distinction and the Alabama Plus America Pageant , serving on the National Miss Plus America Board of Directors as Secretary .
She has held State & National titles in pageantry to include , Mrs . Jefferson County Plus America , Mrs . Alabama Plus America , Ms . Alabama AWB Plus , and Mrs . Alabama AWB Plus . Recently competing in a National pageant in Orlando , Florida she currently reigns as The Inaugural , Mrs . All World Beauties Plus U . S , her platform is HIV / AIDS Prevention & Awareness .
