In today we see social media models and all the stereotypes to what society calls "beautiful". Beauty products are sold every where with labels like reduce aging, lighten skin, and removal of dark spots. Infinite amount of beauty products for every flaw possible. Let's not even get started on the dieting pills, teas, wraps and anything else that is a get skinny quick scheme. Numerous options in the world to better our appearance to be more appealing to everyone and most importantly ourselves.

Honestly, society is not our biggest critic, we are! Each and everyday we quickly remind ourselves of the things we dislike. Anywhere from the size of our nose to our midsection or butt. Not saying society does not play a role, but also not laying all the blame on it. We must see that our everyday actions the lack of love we give to ourselves.

Sadly, everyday millions of women stand in a mirror and point out every negative thing on their body. We are so quick to point out all that we dislike rather than what we do. We have conditioned ourselves to always focus on the areas that we like the least. The challenge is to now acknowledge those negative deeds and change it to a positive. When we change our perception we began to see that we can feel great about ourselves no matter what stage or season of life we are in.

Once we realize no matter the number on the scale; if our perception never changes we will still feed into the negative connotations.
