signing to my first modelling agency. I saw Tess Holliday and Ashley Graham and looked up to them so much. They were plus size models and they were changing the industry. I do believe that the modelling industry is a toxic industry. I've often read stories of models being dehydrated and starved before shows. The reason I am a curve model is to promote body positivity and body confidence. I am very healthy and all my medical files show that. I am an average weight but in the model world I would be considered as plus size and I'm okay with that. I think the modelling world should have a variety of models instead of one type. I have always felt strongly about my opinion on modelling and that's why this show was connected to me immediately. The Fashion Hero is hosted by the beautiful Brooke Hogan. Singer and dancer and Hulk Hogans daughter. Brooke is a sweetheart and I couldn't have met a nicer person. When I left to go to Dublin airport I was so terrified. I had never travelled alone before especially half way across the world. I hugged my family goodbye and boarded my flight to New York. My flight was delayed so I had more time to worry. I literally walked up and down JFK about 60 times, I can picture it in my mind from top to bottom. Finally, my flight from New York to Montreal arrived and we took off. I arrived in Montreal to the friendliest cast, crew and production ever. I was the youngest person on the show so I was worried about getting along with other people outside of my age but honestly, we are all one big family to this day. We all got along so well and we were all there for each other through thick and thin. Obviously, it's a reality show so there is a lot of drama, crying, love etc. in the show. 40-45 of us out of 20,000 were chosen to go for filming for the show. We all had to compete to be the face of an international designers brand. Although it was a competition none of us ever manipulated each other. Literally we all had so much love and respect for each other and the bond we have today is what I'm truly grateful for. The Fashion Hero will air in 2017 and will consist of 8 episodes in season 1. I am so excited for the show to air and I'm so proud of everyone. You can find the Trailer/teaser for the show on YouTube. The show is going to be world changing and ground breaking and will change the industry for the better. I am really proud of myself for how far I've come. I'm only 18 years old and since leaving school to peruse my dream I've signed to 2 agencies, got a part on a new TV show out of 20,000 people. My Instagram is slowly growing and currently has 18 thousand followers which I am truly grateful for. I'm currently still doing some magazine work and shoots and castings and at the same time I'm planning my big move to the US next year with Jordan Cottrell (my amazing friend who was on the show also) I'm also working on a new music album. The album is a pop album and we have great hopes for the release of this album. I'm working with a top producer in Dublin on the first track of the album and the progress is doing amazing. At the moment I am busy with my acting, music and modelling but I'm so happy that leaving school has paid off for me and I'm never going to give up fighting for my dream. I'm so excited for this new TV show to air and can't wait to see what it brings to my life and I couldn't be happier with where I am today. The show is amazing and I'm so happy to be part
of it. If a girl from a little village on a little island can land a spot on a new TV show, you can do anything. I would encourage everyone to try and reach the goal they set, no obstacle is too high. If you work hard enough you will get results, I've proved it in only one year and although a lot of big things are happening I'm working harder and harder everyday because nothing that's worth it comes easy.
