Stay in the word and keep the word of God in you and what you ask for will be given to you. As you stay in the word you are better able to discern what is the true will of God. This prevents us from setting goals and asking for things outside of what is pleasing to God. This isn’t an exchange your obedience for his blessings. It’s a guide stay within these guidelines he will give you what you ask for, but it’s difficult to navigate guidelines you aren’t familiar with. The bible provides you the insight you need. The reason he gives you what you want is because it is for his glory. You bring God glory when he blesses your life. Those blessings bring glory to his name.
God is very intentional and the idea that you bear much fruit is proof of God’s power at work in your life. Do you want to glorify God? Live a productive life. Understand God does not get any additional glory when we shrink set goals which don’t require him to accomplish. As a woman of faith you should expect to dominate in your field. Strive to be the best. You have everything within you to be at the top. How could you not, the power of God the one who created the universe is in your veins.
In order to prepare for a miracle we have to expect the miraculous. The of your goals should be a reflection of the power of the God you serve. His word says “ask for whatever you wish”. Do you believe God for big things? If your goals don't scare you in 2017 they're not big enough.
You should ask yourself is this goal asking God to part the Red Sea? Am I asking to walk on water? Ask for ‘whatever you wish”. if your goals are impossible with man then they are the perfect size because we know all things are possible with Christ.
Jeremiah 29:11-12 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to
prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call
on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. (NIV)
You may not know the plans God has for you, but there are plans indeed.These plans are not plans to harm you, to see you struggle, nor to see you go without. His plans are not plans of a shortage for you, they are not plans of slavery and bondage or plans for merely surviving. They are good plans for a prosperous future. God has plans to give you hope and because of that you should be drawn into prayer knowing he will listen to you. How amazing is it to know the One who spoke the stars in the sky is listening to your heart, your hopes and your prayers?
Who better to design a plan for you than the Creator and giver of talents?
when you start to think of your goals for 2017 don't ignore that small voice the small fire burning within you to answer the call and step out on faith. What’s the thing you’ve been ignoring because it just seems so crazy? It’s so out of what you know now you are even afraid to share it with your closest friends? God has a plan to use that thing in your life and through your life for the kingdom of God. It doesn't matter where you are today or your situation. Your past doesn’t matter it won’t impact the future plans God has for you. God will use all of it for your good and his glory if you let him. This is a reminder that your best days are ahead of you. This is true even if you have a great life now God is saying “greater is coming”.
As you begin to see God's plans manifest in your life that's not the time to turn away and do things in your own power that's the time to go to him to pray to him to talk to him knowing that he is a God that listens.
What crazy thing has God called you to do, build an ark for a time where people have never seen the rain, dig a ditch in the time of a drought, walk on water in the middle of the ocean?
