HAPPY NEW YEAR!

It’s the time of year to make resolutions and set goals for all the things we hope to accomplish. As women of faith our goals ought to reflect what we believe about ourselves and what we believe about God. Before you set your goals this year there are a few things you must accept

Things You Must Accept

BEFORE

2017

You Set Your Goals for

This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son

into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but

that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:9-10 (NIV)

.

You have to accept the fact that you are loved by God. He loved you so much he sent his Son to die for you. God's love for you is not a theory it's not simply an emotion or a feeling either. God loves you so deeply he was moved to action on your behalf, sacrificing even his own son for you.

Sometimes we are unsure if a person truly loves us and we often recognize their love for us by their actions more than their words. You must accept and acknowledge Jesus Son of Man was crucified and died on a rugged cross so that we might have eternal life. He is the perfect lamb of God manifested in the flesh to take on our sin. This is proof, evidence of God’s love for us. Jesus loves you so much he lay down his life. You must understand it wasn’t taken.

You didn’t do anything to earn this love and you can’t do anything to lose it. Think about that for just a minute……….

Now do you understand how loved you are by God? If you truly understand God loved you enough to sacrifice Jesus, then you know there isn’t any good thing he would keep from you. Sometimes we don’t believe God for the impossible because we don’t think he loves us enough to give it to us.

An unstoppable love is just that...unstoppable.

Now, what good thing would God keep from you? Nothing.

John 15:7-8 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish,

and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing

yourselves to be my disciples. (NIV)

1. YOU ARE LOVED BY GOD

2. God is glorified when your life is very productive.
