Seek outside help.

Stopping the negative talk about other women and reframing your internal dialogue can be incredibly helpful. But if you find yourself struggling with these activities or if you feel that you have some deeply rooted body image issues that are fuelling your greater world view, consider talking to a therapist or coach. Contrary to the pop culture depiction, therapy isn’t all about “Lay down on the red couch while I psychoanalyze you and tell you everything that you’re doing wrong.”

It’s a safe space that allows you to verbalize your feelings and helps learn strategies to help you live a happier life.
