The contagious
#MeToo movement
revealed how media
can be a powerful
tool for empowering
and supporting
women. Inspired
by this movement,
I invited Putney
community members
to speak about their
stories dealing with
sexual assault or
sexual harassment.
By doing so, I want
to emphasize the
seriousness and
prevalence of these
issues in our society.
Each of these stories is
hard to process, but by
reading them, I hope
we will stand with
these women as allies
and silence breakers.
In this project, I
want to maintain the
anonymity of sources
and stories. Therefore,
I decided not to edit
the testimonies, nor
did I include stories
with identifying details
and names.
