Voices Outside
Putney
When I interviewed a lot of
students on campus before, I
gradually realized there’s also
a need to raise awareness of
women in the workplace. Some
strong women nowadays are
still struggling between family
and career, or with issues of
sexual harassment, and hearing
what they have been through
is imperative to us. Thus, I in-
terviewed four Putney alum-
nae who were in different age
groups and worked in various
fields to talk about their expe-
riences in their professions.
In the process of interviewing
them, I was shocked by some
of their experiences while em-
powered by others.
