Fashion Odds ( OCT', Issue 24.) THROWBACK ISSUE | Page 52

How did your career within the fashion industry get started?

A medium once told me that in a past life I was an indigenous woman

who created clothing for her tribe.

Where do you draw your fashion inspiration?

Fashion is in the air and the world around me. For instance, a

bodacious bougainvillea shrub with its lush meadow leaves creates a

pantone worthy palette for an unforgettable fall look.

What goals do you wish to achieve in the future?

My dreams are written out and plotted in the stars. I see myself as a household name.

How do you choose what looks work for each individual

client?

What works for Timmy doesn't work for Tommy. I used to plan out looks but I have learned its best to have many options to supportmy clients visions and bang it out during the fitting.

What is the biggest misconception people not working in your field have

about your job?

People often think that you need to be rich to be fashionable. Style doesn’t have to be expensive. Shout out to my Maxxinistas.

What has been the most memorable moment of your career, so far?

My most memorable moment in my career so far was getting published in Vogue. (Taiwan Vogue, July 2016 Beauty cover)
