Hawk Snipes, Meron Bekele, Curtis Bryant, and Phillip-Michael all make up the dynamic brains of Pinned X Stitched, we got a chance to live a day as one of the Pinned X Stitched crew members, we are overly joyed by the team , their passion and how they continuously take over the NYC!
You guys are all over the place how often do all of you get together to develop what’s next?
It's Hard! Honestly not as much as we use to because we all have jobs and solo projects, plus are in between states, But we are all in a group chat via text and communicate with each other daily for future concepts & creative ideas. And most of the time we know each other’s thoughts and ideas before we even say it.
How have you guys dealt with the success of Pinned X Stitched, social media fame ?
Meron and I started PinnedxStitched just to have fun and showcase our creative gifts. We didn't know where this creative idea would take us. Then we realized after a few months that so many people connected with us because we weren't trying to be anyone else but ourselves.
What's next for you B. Hawk ?
I honestly don't know. (Laughs out loud) But I'm hoping for a amazing EP coming in 2016 with OFU, Pinned X Stitched to become bigger & better and just to be happy with whatever I'm doing. Being in the music, fashion and tv industry has been a rollercoaster ride for me. So I'll be happy with any positive opportunity that comes my way honestly.
Meron your curves break instagram! You are praised for your shape, how do you keep it so sickening?
I dont do that waist trainng stuff honestly, Im a 34,28,50 and the more I put on wieght it luckily goes to the desired areas (Laughs)
Meron are you working on anything extra outside of PXS?
Im working on an online boutique its called " No Dress-code". the concept is convenient shopping , where its customized to you based off where you're going and your personality type. It will be integrated with an app as well.
Curtis where do you see PXS in a couple of years ?
Im the creative brains behind the name, I don't like to be in front of the camera, I like being behind the scenes. Im excited where the brand is going, We are starting a vlog, we are re branding the site and I will be over seeing the creative direction of the site. we all want the brand to have more depth, we don't want it to be superficial,we are involved with allot not only fashion i.e. Black Lives Matters, it will be even better once our 6 new interns start.
