The steady creak of the oar and the splash as it thrusts
us ever onwards are a counterpoint to my story. My
eyes are closed, to better see the story, to not be distracted by audience reaction. Not that the Corvid-like
Ferryman would show any reaction. Bird-like, reminding me of what I thought the Seventh Magpie would
