Logan Fuller (29) Is headed to the University of Mary Hardin Baylor after a successful stint at Tyler Junior College. The 2015 All-Henderson County MVP, Fuller is expected to be used heavily in the Mary Hardin Baylor offense this season. from Brownsboro High School and had a strong year in his second year at Nacogdoches. In his sophomore season, he was an All-Southland Conference Second Team offensive selection. He led SFA in receptions (53) and receiving yards (645) for the second consecutive season ... Was second in touchdowns (5) and third in individual scoring. He has also received preseason All-Southland Conference hon- ors heading into his junior season. Kemp’s Ellijah Gardiner is in Columbus, Ohio wearing No. 87 on the Buckeyes roster. Athens graduate Noah Bush is currently in the Air Force Preparatory Academy, while former teammate Maalik Hall is at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Trinity Valley graduate and Malakoff native Damontes Dowell is playing for Texas State University. He will be wearing No. 23 as a wide receiver this year. Eustace graduate Mikey Marshall is now at Missouri Valley College after changing his commitment from East Texas Baptist University prior to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Heart of a Champion Bowl Game. Brownsboro graduate Braylon Wehrmann is at Lyon College and wears No. 22 on the Scots roster. He recorded eight tackles last year during a 3-8 season. A first-team Athens Daily Review All-Henderson County Area foot- ball player in 2015, Athens sophomore Travon Fuller is in College Station fighting for a spot with the Texas A&M Aggies as a defen- sive back. He was a redshirt freshman all of 2016, and is looking to try and play for the Aggies in 2018. As of early August, Fuller is wear- ing No. 28 on the roster. During his senior season at Athens, he recorded 54 tackles, two interceptions, one forced fumble and seven pass breakups. He was selected on the District 8-4A first-team on defense, sec- ond-team selection on offense, was an all-state honorable mention member by the Associated Press and played in the Offense- Defense All-American Bowl game in Florida. Braxton Watters from Kemp is currently at Austin College. He is wearing No. 33 and had no stats last year. He is a sophomore line- backer for the Kangaroos. Athens junior defensive lineman Tyler Trussell heads to Southwestern Assemblies of God University in the fall. He joins Chad Walker on the Lions roster. Mabank graduate and Doane College junior Zane Koskelin is wearing No. 54 on the roster in Crete, Nebraska. He is looking to find a roster spot as a linebacker for the Tigers this season. Koskelin was a second-team linebacker on the Athens Daily Review All-Henderson County Area football team. Blayne Rowe is a member of the Southwestern Assemblies of God University football team. He will be looking to make a roster spot this year in his junior season. David Dennis from Kemp is in his junior season at Southwestern Assemblies of God University.
