MINISTRY SPOTLIGHT “ After preaching I prayed for a woman who had brain cancer, I didn't know at the time she had brain cancer. She told a friend after the prayer she felt different. Jesus had healed her. ” Family and Faith Magazine: What is the mission and focus of Christine Haber ministries? Christine Haber: Christine Haber Ministries International’s purpose is the salvation of souls through sharing God's love. We are indeed winning souls and spreading this love in many different ways which include, outreach missions in Jamaica and abroad, preaching and evangelising the good news of Jesus Christ, healing the sick, helping the poor as well as activating persons into their God given gifts and purpose. We achieve all this through visiting homes, communities, hospitals, several churches and many countries to conduct prayer meetings, conferences, charity events and workshops. This ministry is one of prayer and intercession for all nations and we have been assigned by God to pray specially over Jamaica and Israel. CHMI is a Five Fold Ministry and has been empowering the body of Christ by the enlightenment of the power of the Holy Spirit and the healing blood and saving grace of Jesus Christ which leads to His supernatural miracles. The Jesus in us attracts the salvation of men, women and children. Acts 1:8 says “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” This Great Commission is enabled by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are to be Christ's witnesses and go into all nations and this is what CHMI is doing. Family and Faith Magazine: Share with our readers stories of healing or restoration that you have personally witnessed through your ministry, which shows that the power of Jesus is still at work in people's lives today? Christine Haber: I have witnessed healing and restoration through my ministry that has brought forth great soul winning and miracles. It’s difficult to choose only two stories but I will carefully share two significant events that changed my life. My trip to Switzerland in 2012 was the beginning of a brand new light in my ministry. I took ten persons with me and it was a full package of ministering, praise dance, evangelism and me preaching. After preaching I prayed for a woman who had brain cancer, I didn't know at the time she had brain cancer. She told a friend after the prayer she felt different. Jesus had healed her. I was just a yielded vessel He used. When my team and I returned to Jamaica the report came in that she had gone back to the doctor and there was no trace of cancer. To God be the glory! Another supernatural time for my ministry was in Israel. Living there for a month with my team was indeed a life changing experience for us all. We not only experienced healing and restoration for the people but also for familyandfaithmagazine.com 7
