This program invites you to learn or practice Italian in a relaxed and "simpatico" atmosphere outside of a classroom. Come and join us

Italiano a Tavola (Dinner & Conversations)
Join facilitator Violante Binazzi as we enjoy a delicious prix fixe
dinner at Ristorante Boccaccio while engaging in lively Italian
conversation. These are drop-in classes and don’t require a full-term
commitment. Prix fixe menu is included. The facilitator and
language instruction are complimentary.

Instructor: Violante Binazzi is an Italian native speaker with a
degree in Art History from the University of Florence, Italy.
Violante is certificated as a teacher by the Italian Ministry of
Education. Now in Toronto, she continues to share her love for
the Italian language and her passion for the Italian culture.

their artistic style would have a big impact on the Italian art scene
and the world. In this workshop, we invite you to practice your
Italian while learning about the great masters of Italian Renaissance.
Travel through Italy with Angelita Papa
Every Wednesday beginning October 2 - November 20
7:00 - 8:00pm
A one-hour conversation in English and Italian where we will
explore Italian history, traditions and cities in a relaxed and informal
atmosphere.

Tarantella: Southern Italian Folk Music,
Song & Dance Workshop
Sunday, October 6 at 2:00pm
Conducted in English and Italian, this workshop will take you into
the world of folk music and dance from Southern Italy and the
Kingdom of the Two Sicilies. With a focus on the Tarantella and
pizzica rhythms and its many variations, you will discover its rich
traditions and customs. Facilitator, Marisa Buffone will perform and
also teach traditional songs, combined with music and dancing.
