YOUNG LAWYER SHOWCASE AMY PIKOVSKY Amy Pikovsky is an associate attorney with Ebeltoft Sickler Lawyers in Dickinson. She also serves as the Hettinger County state’s attorney. Originally from Minneapolis, Minn., Pikovsky attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earning her bachelor of science in wildlife ecology. She graduated cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School with a concentration in environmental and energy law. While in law school, Pikovsky participated in environmental moot court, Public Interest Law Clinic, and Energy Policy Clinic, first as a member and then as student director. Outside of work, Pikovsky strives to give back to the community, currently serving as president of the board of a local off-track thoroughbred rescue, an EMT on the rural volunteer ambulance service, and a volunteer firefighter. In her spare time, she enjoys riding her horses, running with her rescue dogs, and appreciating the great North Dakota outdoors. JORDAN SELINGER Jordan Selinger is an attorney with Kubik, Bogner, Ridl & Selinger, PLLP in Dickinson. His practice primarily focuses on civil litigation, probate, business formation, oil and gas, and family law. #EIDELIKE I’D LIKE PEACE OF MIND FOR MY CLIENTS Selinger was born and raised in Dickinson. After graduating from Trinity High School, he attended the University of Mary in Bismarck. There he obtained a bachelor degree in political science with minors in business administration and criminal justice. Selinger went on to obtain his juris doctor from the University of North Dakota in 2016. While in law school, he was actively involved in Moot Court. He was a member of the Moot Court Board and competed in the Herbert Wechsler National Criminal Moot Court Competition at the University at Buffalo New York and the Ruby R. Vale Corporate Moot Court Competition at Widener University, Delaware Law School. Following his graduation, Selinger was elected to the Order of the Barristers. He is currently the vice president of the Dickinson Area Community Foundation and the treasurer for the Southwest North Dakota Bar Association. In his spare time, Selinger enjoys pheasant hunting, playing basketball, golfing, and spending time at the lake with his wife, Kayla, and their dog, Rory.
