uckg.org|3 HOW ONE SACRIFICE OPENED UP MANY DOORS In 2016, Ann Anofienem decided to start saving money so that she could buy her own property. I was waiting for my ‘name to be cleared’. Additionally, a reputable mortgage adviser informed me that my salary would not make a difference to my situation, as with adverse credit, I could not get a mortgage until it had been cleared. Nonetheless, I decided to use my faith and put an offer down for a property. “When the Campaign of Israel came around in December I had no doubt that God wanted me to sacrifice. I believed that God had seen me struggle and He knew I had been fighting. He was my priority; I always wanted Him to be first in my life. During a Monday financial meeting in January 2017, we were encouraged to make a plan for a particular goal. We were told to go for something big, even if it seemed impossible. I chose to make a plan towards getting my property. I had sacrificed my savings on the altar so I knew I would need to start from scratch. Plus, I had adverse credit, so There were many obstacles along the way, so much so that I was ready to give up. However, as soon as I stopped trying to force it, God stepped in and began opening doors for me. A well-known bank that had added over £3,000 on my credit report as a default, asked me to scribe an apology letter from them, acknowledging their mistake, which they signed for my mortgage provider. My mobile phone provider, who had made three errors, removed them all, even though they had initially said it would be impossible. The property owner’s financial assessor, who had rejected me after their own assessment, still signed in my favour. The owner, who had given me until 3rd April to exchange contracts, waited for me until June. Even though I sacrificed my deposit in December, God opened up unexpected financial doors for me and provided just as He had promised, surprising me with payments from forgotten cases and by using my work to unexpectedly bless me. In June, I finally received my mortgage offer and I have now moved into my new property. God made the impossible possible!” Ann Anofienem “The price of a victory is proportional to its size. That is why great victories are only conquered by men of God, courageous, firm and determined. The Holy Spirit never chooses cowards to achieve great things for the glory of His Son!” - Bishop Edir Macedo in Change Your Life Through Your Sacrifice
