6 FAITH IN ACTION SHINING THE LIGHT INTO YOUR FINANCES What happens when the fuse jumps, or the light goes out, and you have to navigate yourself from one side of the room to the other? Your initial instinct is to first stop moving in the hope of finding your bearings. You slowly make your way across the room, unaware of what is ahead, but hoping not to bump into, trip, or fall over anything. No matter how careful you are, however, you always end up with a bump or a scratch, right up until you finally reach the fuse box and turn the lights back on. If you can relate to this and are experiencing financial problems, including loss, failure, unemployment, accumulated debt, misery, or financial instability, it’s time to flip the switch and turn the light on your money matters! This is what the ‘Let There be Light’ purpose on Mondays is all about; receiving the clarity that you need in your finances to know exactly how to use your faith in a way that will bring you results, no matter what your current financial status may be. It’s not too late to end this year with your finances well and truly in order. SPEAK TO THE PASTOR OR AN ASSISTANT TODAY ABOUT JOINING THIS CHAIN OF PRAYER. I anointed my folder and put the lightbulb inside my bag as a sign of faith on the interview day. Then a colleague approached me and asked me if I was willing to help him conduct research, so I agreed. I then went into the office for the interview and was joined by my supervisor, who gave me a good reference. I was able to prove that I was conducting research with another doctor and now I have been approved.” - Liliana Sosa Sanchez “By engaging in Monday’s chain of prayer for my financial life, I now have a part-time job alongside my studies, where I get to choose the hours I want to work so that it does not compromise my faith. The one piece of advice that helped me from the meetings and still is helping me, is
