Surely goodness and mercy
shall follow me all the days of
my life: and I will dwell in the
house of the Lord forever.
It affects my journey so well. "The Lord is my shepherd (He
watches over me) He restoreth my soul (He renews my spirit
daily every single day is a new day) though I walk through the
valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art
with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. (My journey
at times has taken me through a spiritual, mental and physical
death. I believe the shadow of death isn’t just a physical
death. It’s a battle with the beast, a fight with an addiction
that is destroying your life, so I find comfort when I repeat
this to myself. "I will fear no evil: for thou art with me”)
My other verse "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, And light unto my path"
(God leads me every step of the way)
"Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have
rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things people look
at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks
at the heart.” (That says it all)
