The phrase, time flies when you are having fun is indeed true. I’m excited to be able to
present to you the third edition of Faith, Hair
and Styles Magazine. This also serves as the
one year anniversary of Faith, Hair and
Styles. It is my prayer that the stories in this
magazine will empower us all to arise and go
to the next level where God is leading us. I
give all praise to God for allowing me to continue to manifest the vision that he birthed
inside of me. No matter what happens God
always shows himself mighty. I also would like
to give special thanks to my husband, Demetrius for his continued encouragement,
love, and prayers. I would also like to thank
my children (Monica, Michael, Jr., Shemika
and JaPaul), my grandchildren (Jaylon and
Derrick), and my entire family for their love,
support and prayers. Thanks also goes out to
my pastor, Dr. Gregory L. Clarke for his leadership, preaching and teaching down through
the years. To my New Hope church family, I
love you all. To every hairstylist, barber, business owner entertainer or pastor thank you for
being a part of this edition. I also give special
thanks to Jonnathan King, Pastor Demetrius
Hutchins, Michael S. Fitts, Constance McKinney, Shayna Nicole, Reverend Fredrick Williams, Angela Newkirk, Martice Wiley and my
son, JaPaul Vines for their hard work in making this edition possible. Always remember in
everything that you do, never stop dreaming.
The dream that you have may not work out
the first time, but God is the orchestrator of all
things. Wait on him, and don’t become weary.
