things happening from friends dying to parents
dying or maybe you get sick and things like that.
We call this just life. See God never said He would
take our problems away, he just said that He will
be with us through them. Sometimes we can feel
so low during life that we give up. many times this
baggage can hurt us so bad that we decide not to
do anything with our lives.
Why is all this important? Because everything you
go through in life affects how you respond to life in
general. Everything adds up and unless you find
a way to control this emotional roller-coaster we
call baggage, you will live your life in a world that
makes you always looking over your shoulder.
You will live life keeping walls up over your heart.
You will have such a huge wall that it makes the
wall of China look small.
What do you do? I believe you have no choice but
to hand this over to God. Only he can handle this
for you and he wants to handle it for you.
1 Peter 5:6-7 6 Therefore humble yourselves
under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt
you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him,
for He cares for you.
God loves you. He cares for you and he is ready
to take your baggage. He knows the baggage is
holding you back. You just have to realize that.
Until you fully surrender to God, you are gonna
have some baggage. Let me make one thing clear
here though, I am not saying you will live problem free after this. What I am saying is God will
take that baggage from you and over time you will
grow enough spiritually that things from your past

will not affect you as much. It is all about growth.
Always remember that we all have our share of
struggles and we all have baggage from those
struggles. God uses our struggle in order to prune
us for his calling. He is not going to put you in
your calling without you having struggle in your
life because then you should have nothing to talk
about. Can you imagine yourself telling a friend
or speaking to a group of people and telling them
that everything came naturally to you? They would
kick you out because they would know it’s not the
truth. The truth is we all have struggles and we all
handle them in a different way. The key is to not
allow your struggles to break you and they will do
that if you allow them to turn into baggage that
you bring into your future!
This will hold you back and it happens all the time.
The baggage is real so that is why God wants you
to turn your baggage over to him because only he
can give you the peace to get through your baggage!
Say this, please God help me with my baggage. I
know that you are the Light. I know that you have
the power to help me and my future. I do not want
to keep taking baggage from thing to thing and
relationship to relationship. I am ready to fully surrender it all to you right now. I am re-committing
my life back to you and I need your help right now.
Take this away and help me see things through
your eyes! AMEN!
