will have trouble . But take heart ! I have overcome the world ” John 16:33 .
Secondly , Jesus exhibited pure trust . We can , as well , with His guidance . Believe that whatever happens , God has got it under control . He will protect us , and eventually provide for us if we stand fast to our beliefs and honor Him . Jesus told the authorities who wished to stone Him , “ My sheep listen to my voice ; I know them , and they follow me . I give them eternal life , and they shall never perish ; no one will snatch them out of my hand ” John 10:27-28 .
He stands ready to guard us even if we are surrounded by snarling wolves . As long as we quietly and firmly state that we cannot be privy to any action that rubs against our principles or goes against our beliefs , God will have our back , and hold our hand . If that means a pink slip in our other hand and a box to pack our desk up , so be it . God has a greater plan . From one who knows , I can testify that He will provide . We may not see how that is possible , but all is possible for Him .
