be treated with the same love Christ has to offer .
HUMBLENESS
Being humble is not a weakness , but is a great strength for Christians . Being humble is an avenue to be used to emulate the love Christ has for man . In Titus 3:2 ( KJV ) Christians are directed to “ speak evil of no man , to be no brawlers , but gentle , shewing all meekness unto all men .” Through showing the love of Christ by being humble , doors can be opened in the hearts of nonbelievers , allowing them to be ministered to and have seeds of salvation planted .
INTEGRITY
Proverbs 11:3 ( KJV ): The integrity of the upright shall guide them : but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them .
Integrity sets Christians apart from nonbelievers . Being a Christian and having integrity go hand-in-hand . The inherent integrity of Christians is a reflection of the heart and love of Christ . The hearts of Christians hold on to integrity , and this inherent truthfulness is held as a primary belief makes Christians stand apart from those of the world . You cannot be a true follower of Christ without integrity .
MORALITY Matthew 6:24 states that man
cannot serve two masters - they have to love one or the other . Love Christ or love the world ; it is a very simple choice . Clearly , society has been sliding away from the love of God . Those in the world don ’ t see this because they are part of the world . Christians are different because we hold to the morals expounded in the Bible . The morality of knowing and practicing what is right is a staple belief for not conforming to society .
GENEROSITY
“ One person gives freely , yet gains even more ; another withholds unduly , but comes to poverty . A generous person will prosper ; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed .” Proverbs 11:24-25 ( NIV )
Generosity is a pillar for Christians . Yes , the liberal society gives , and gives plenty , but for Christians , generosity is not for glory , does not have an agenda or strings attached , and is not for worldly gains , but for spiritual food and for showing the love of Christ Jesus . When giving , Christians do so out of the love of Christ , not of the world . Christ showed the greatest compassion any person could : He gave His life for man . He placed Himself as the final sacrifice as an atonement for man ’ s sins , so that those who believe and accept Him can have eternal life in Heaven .
In society , Christians can expect Christian values to be shunned . Seemingly exponentially , Christian values are not the mainstay of today ’ s society . Liberal viewpoints are overarching the values put forth in the Bible . As Christians , we must stay strong in our faith and be the foundation to the world when the population at large realizes the falsity of their ways . Regardless of the desensitization of society towards the values of Christians , we must hold , not waiver , not bend , but be the strength and light of Christ for the world to see . God bless .
