Submission Is Easy When We Trust
Submission has been one of those words that most people cringe to hear . It ’ s a release of power which most people are afraid to relinquish . Yet we release that power everyday willingly . We submit to higher powers in our government by allowing them to make laws and rules and enforce them . We also submit to doctors , teachers and attorneys to make the best decisions on our behalf . So why do we struggle to submit to God who is all knowing and promises us blessing when we surrender all to Him ? Isaiah 52:12 : “ For the LORD will go before you , And the

God of Israel will be your rear guard .”
It always comes down to our trust in Him , believing that He will be our rear guard and take care of things we don ’ t even see yet . Isaiah 52:12 tells us that He will not only go before us but that He is also our rear guard . That means He sees what ’ s coming up , good or bad . He is our Protector and keeps watch over us . We don ’ t need to be suspicious or anxious about what is ahead because God has us covered on all sides . Submitting our reactions when we are betrayed , mistreated or hurt instead of returning evil for evil shows our level of trust in Him . He is a God of justice and He has the perfect response and outcome that will bless us . All of this comes in our ability to submit to God and believe that He knows more than
