Godly behavior is refreshing to a dark world . Knowing you have someone at work you can trust and confide in is worth millions . Another example that can assist in the work place is helping someone who is new to the office . Too often a new person to the office can cause insecurity among other workers for fear of their jobs . This in turn can cause a person to react unkindly to the new guy . Instead we can be the one to embrace them and help others to do the same . Paul in the New Testament is a great example . The New Apostle on the block , Paul had to face the mistrust of the other Apostles . The only Paul they knew was the one who was killing the church . Yet when Barnabas got involved the others slowly came around and accepted Paul , who came to be one of the greatest writers of the New Testament ( Acts 9:27 ).
Being who God made you to be in the work place can have eternal benefits . The first thing is that our godly behavior towards others pleases God . The second thing is that God has it all under control . Once you realize that God puts people just where He wants them to be no matter what another does , will allow us to relax and let God work out the details . This is the fact if God wants you at the top , that is where you will go , to the top . Until then you can be the turning point for so many in your place of work . Practice caring , compassion and Luke 6:31 . Treat others with the respect and compassion that you , yourself would like to have and you will find your work place has become a better place to work . You may even find yourself noticed for the principles you are living and find yourself one more step up the ladder .
