RIGHT OR WRONG ?

You work in an office of forty people . There is only so many that will climb the corporate ladder . What will it take to make the climb ? Some believe you must do whatever it takes to reach the top . However , this is not so for the Christian . Governed by godly principles , a Christian must resolve themselves not to play by man ’ s rules . The issue is to maintain one ’ s integrity while advancing to the top . We will explore how to advance in the work place , while maintaining your Christian character .

Several years ago , I worked for a company that was mostly on the east coast . Climbing to the top was easy if you were willing to play along . Willing to do what it takes . You know that thing that people only whisper about in private . You must be willing to take steps to insure your climb , even if it meant climbing over your work mate . This was an area I was not willing to go . Yet I still climbed a couple of steps before moving on to another company . All too often people lay aside their integrity and morals just to advance to what they deem the glory of life , the top . My husband once worked for a national company and advancement only came to the ruthless . It was amazing to watch the lengths people would go too to keep their spot at the top or get there . Behaviors such as lying , manipulations , and cheating would be among the tactics used . Anything to fit in or move ahead . On a business trip with my husband I watched as a man so drunk he could not stand up and fell to the ground several times . I asked my husband , “ who is he ” my husband replied
