still the possibility of the answer
being wrong, or in need of testing in the future, more information needed as life unfolds, and
the unfolding of God’s path in
each person’s life.
The unknown, or the relying upon
faith is the where and when we
know if children of Christ, regardless of age- children of God
are all ages, and when we call
out to Him? God is our Father.
You see, when it comes to critical thinking, it is as I mentioned
before, it is not the topic- [“Well,
you are writing about Spirituality, and I am a teacher, so I am
thinking about critical thinking
in the field of Education.”], or
[“Oh, Brenda, you are trying to
compare apples and oranges!”]
No, let’s consider what we have
as fruit; we have the word of
God, and we have children of
God, and what is critical thinking again? We have people of
all ages, shapes, and sizes, and
we are asking questions, and
understanding answers based
on the information we give and
our capacity to know what and
how much with the amount of
learning we have at the moment.
And with all of that we analyze
and evaluate, and as time goes
by, we live by faith, and we grow.
We are not ready to accept the
Lord and His teachings at the
same time in our life. Some of us
are still weathering storms, and
until “our” time is present, we will
continue to listen and receive
messages from others. However, once God reaches out and
touches your heart with His stability and strength, and all of the
security of salvation weighs on
our heart with glory, that spiritual
discernment will become so thin.
All of the words heard before
that linger, “God is Mercy,” “Only
through HIM, for everything else
is mere dust without His breath,”
“Holiness, not Happiness!”, And
of course, I could go on, and on.
Consider these words in I Corinthians: -
and parents quieting our fears
and strengthening our faith,
become our prayers and biblical
“homework”, as we draw close
and nearer to where we want to
be ourselves. For one day, we
will be the teachers, encouraging others in grace, love, mercy,
“NOW WE HAVE RECEIVED and His word.
