Artist of the Year and Song of
the Year “First” – One of the
highlights of the evening was
Lauren Daigle getting a chance
to perform live with Swithfoot.
She described the experience
as a dream come true- she said
she nearly passed out when she
found out she would be singing
with Swithfoot. She described
them as incredible and how she
loves after all these years they
were able to keep their hearts
pure about their music and love
for God.

he explained how his brother,

aggressive infection and recently
lost his feet.
Tears flowed as the talked about
how the song they just sung was
their song, My Story, with all of
their heart while Jason or as they
affectionately call him, “JayDog”
was on their mind.
Mike mentioned how he asked
his dad how he could be here at
the K-LOVE Fan Awards Show
and sing without his brother.
His father replied “because his
[Jason] story is not done yet”.
When asked what we could do
to help, Mike responded to pray
for God to kill the infection in his
body and to heal him.
