very day there is a battle
being waged. Spiritually
there is a war going on
around us. As Christians
we are standing on the front line,
or amidst the trenches, fighting
for ourselves and our loved ones.
For every situation, the Bible is
a great guide to us experiencing
victory. In actuality, we already
have victory, even though there
are moments that make us feel
defeated. When we experience
failure, hurt, offense, or loss of
any kind as humans we tend
to question how victorious we
really are. The enemy seems
to have a grip on some area of
our life, and we don’t know how
to get free or stay free. However, one of the greatest assets
we have as believers is prayer.
Prayer when aligned with God’s
word not only guides us to victory, but makes that victory more
apparent.

to pray in the spirit before falling asleep. On occasion if I was
restless I would watch TBN.
Over time I learned not only how
to speak to what troubled me
and tell it to go, but I also began
praying for the ministers I saw
on television. At six years old I
truly believed that I was talking
to God, and not only did He hear
me, but He wanted to answer
my prayers. God wanted to
