Why Did Praying Protection Fail in An Accident? By Alleta Liebenberg Tragedy ripped through Oconee County on the evening of April 27th 2016, as four young Christian women from the University of Georgia were involved in a lethal car accident. Four of the students died and one was left in a coma, fighting for her life. Five families’ lives changed forever. The Governor of Georgia, Governor Deal ordered flags to be flown at half-mast. For those left behind- devastation. Students held all-night prayer vigils for the young woman in a coma, Agnes Kim. Parents, youth leaders, church leaders and friends were seen on the news praying, crying and each had the same to say- they were sweet, friendly, godly young women who loved Jesus and were out to change the world.
