How Can You Turn Things Around?

Life can be adventurous and fun
yet without warning, things can
get messy. Thus, I am compelled
to warn you that in life, your faith
will be tested beyond all limits.
Now, sometimes, it’s due to
the adversary using such as a
ploy to get you to give up. But,
there are times when we bring
unnecessary problems into our
life. And when hit with unrelenting financial hardships, what is
one to do? Well, first, let’s discuss when this occurs when you
have not been a good steward of
managing your finances.
A lack of finances brings undo
stress within any family. And as
Christians it is all-important that
we learn to manage our finances
well. This comes when we learn
to live within our financial means
rather than attempting to live a
lavish lifestyle which far exceeds
the income we are earning.
There is precious treasure and
oil in the house of the wise [who
prepare for the future], But a
short-sighted and foolish man
swallows it up and wastes it.
(Proverbs 21:20 AMP). Now,
it’s normal to desire to want a
descent salary. Your job should
afford you the opportunity to
meet your monthly obligations;
i.e. rent/mortgage, utilities, food,
water, day care expenses, etc.
After all, these are basic necessities. Such necessities aren’t
the problem. The problem is
in learning how to apply your
finances wisely so as not to get
behind in your bills and to avoid
getting in debt.
You need to ask yourself what
you can live without. Don’t be
obsessed with getting more
material things. Be relaxed
with what you have. Since God
assured us, “I’ll never let you
down, never walk off and leave
