M y phone rang on a Friday afternoon. I answered and on the other end of the line was my husband and he was very upset. He had been laid off from his job. I automatically knew that this was going to be our time of testing. I tried to assure him that everything was going to be okay. I mean this happened once before, we trusted God, and he had a job within 2 weeks. However; this time, that wasn’t quite the case. Six months went by and he was still seeking employment. Sometimes when you help another person it will lift your spirits. Remember that God owns all things. God owns your home, car, and even your family. Since He owns all things we need to take care of what he has entrusted us with. Who do we really work for when we look at the big picture? We are never really laid off from our real job which is our service to the Lord Jesus Himself. Isn’t
