Album review
"The Good News" is finally out!
Finally, “All things new” have
released their new album “The
Good news”.
If their first album “All things
new” had been on vinyl, my copy
would be unplayable now due to
excessive playing. Yes, I am a
fan, after listening on “Washed
over me” for the first time, this
group captured my worship
music heart.
Today, two years after the debut
album it goes without saying
that my expectations on this
next album were sky high. When
I first listening to a new album in
iTunes I use the shuffle function,
if for no other reason that I want
to listen freely and find out
which song I hook up with first.
In this case it was “I'll be”
followed by “Believe” and “We
are the free”.
The first albums somewhat
straggly
style
had
a
thoughtfulness to it that I miss
on the new one. “The Good
news”
is
a
wonderful
worshipping album but the
songs are more mainstream
and it gets a bit happy clappy.
What I like the most from the
previous album is that the joy
- 34 - www.faithcrafter.com -
and playfulness remains the
same, my hope for the next one
is a mix of the first two, worship
pop music that make you
reflect. The more contemporary
style make them a genuine
worship music group.
I have some play lists that is
regularly updated and
the
following songs will populate
them Powerwalks
