Junk Journal
Junk Journaling for Jennifer
began about five years ago in
a long journey of discovery.
In 2009, she lost her father
to cancer. Depressed and not
feeling like herself, she started
watching YouTube to find an
outlet for creativity. She discovered the paper crafting world
and began creating smaller
paper projects without giving it
a ton of thought.
Her first crafting centered
around making new things for
her daughters’ doll house, but
then, a few years later she came
across YouTube videos on Pinterest about Junk Journaling.
What is Junk Journaling?
Junk Journaling is artistic process of representing your life
creatively using “junk” that you
have on hand such as recycled
materials, scrap paper, and other
object (even old cereal boxes). It
is not your usual scrapbooking
or photo album project; because,
