I wanted to prove that cancer did not have the final word. I also had lost my mother-in-law to cancer a few years before my diagnoses. I wanted to give back in memory of her, that’s why I ran with Team In Training for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. what’s in your head to flow through your heart and out through your hand. I like to write to God in the mornings and through that process he speaks to me. I suggest starting with a letter to God. Did the way you practice faith journaling change in any way after your diagnosis and during the treatment? I enjoyed journaling before my diagnosis, however as I spent In 2012 you started your F.R.O.G blog, a year later you started a Vlog and in it embracing your fears for social media, what made you take those steps in faith? It was scary!! Even to this day I still wrestle with feeling confident one day to vlog and then completely insecure the next day. But the one thing I wanted more than anything in the world when I was diagnosed with cancer was to be able to share the love of Christ with others and social media is a great way reach people all over the world. What does your faith journaling mean to you? Any tips to those who would like to start journaling? I love journaling! It’s a unique therapeutic and spiritual process for me.
