In 2012, state agencies identified an estimated 1,640 children who died as a result of abuse and
neglect — between four and five children a day. 3 However, studies also indicate significant
undercounting of child maltreatment fatalities by state agencies — by 50% or more.

JAN 14 Candle Remembrance for Victims of Child Abuse

This event is to share a remembrance for all victims of child abuse, far too many
have been failed by parents, careers, the system and bystanders of the crimes
committed to them, acknowledge the lost children, while their hopes where
ignored of being saved, from the tortures that have taken them to Angels wings.
This pledge is for us to become nosey neighbors, to stand for children whom need
us, and give the future generation hopes that people, real people are there for
them, speaking for them, and saving them. Sadly Scott McMillan wasn't helped,
and saving children of the world is vital. No child should be treated in such way
other than kindness, love, and understanding. I'm lighting my candle for Scott this
Sunday for his little body to be rested now in peace and angel’s hugs are
comforting him now. Survivors of yesterday, today, and tomorrow will stand for
all screaming to be heard for always ♥
