1. How long have you lived in LA? What makes LA a great place to start your career?

I just moved here in January. I wouldn’t say I’m “starting” my career here because I’ve had a pretty successful 2 years in the independent film/modeling world, but moving to LA has definitely helped me evolve as an artist. Here you have people from all over the world, so I feel challenged. I have to prove myself to a whole new audience and you never know who’s going to be watching.

2. What would you say physically you get the most complements on?

Honestly, my tattoos. I really owe the artists a lot of gratitude. It’s funny cause growing up I was always told that tattoos don’t belong on models, and maybe I’ll never make it in the high fashioned world because of them, but every photographer I’ve worked with has absolutely loved them and go out of their way to showcase them. So I’d like to thank Dustin Charles from Tulsa, OK for the butterfly on my arm, because that’s the one that people go wild for!

3. What inspired you to get into modeling?

I was a photographer before I was ever a model. One night I saw this beautiful blonde woman with gorgeous legs at The Sound Pony and she asked me if I’d want to be an extra in a student film she was working on. Her and I worked together on two shoots, the second in which I was featured. I was going thru a really rough time in my life and when I saw myself on screen during the premiere I fell in love with myself again. From there it’s kind of snowballed. Every photographer or film I am featured in or work on as a crew member are projects that come from the heart. .

4. If you could star in the movie of your choice what kind of genre would it be and why?

I want to be in a modern day Romeo and Juliet. But instead of families fighting, I’d love for the project to show how we keep ourselves from love. I’ve been in a few relationships where I’ve been heartbroken because either we don’t know how to communicate or are too busy battling our demons to accept the love.

5. What are a couple of goals you hope to accomplish regarding your modeling career?

I’m in this to change the way people look at women and the way people look at art. I’m here to be a voice for those who feel like they can’t speak.

6. What has been the most creative photo shoot you have experienced so far?

There’s this production company out here called Creature Pictures LA. You can find them on IG or YouTube. Julie the Creative Director has this thing for making beautiful women really creepy and I love it. I’ve worked with her twice now, and both times the concepts she’s curated have blown my mind. She really understands the struggles women face and she brings that to life in the most creative way.

7. What would you say is your dream location for a photo-shoot, if you could shoot anywhere in the world?

I

’ve never been to Brazil, and I’d love to shoot there.

8. What is a common misconception about modeling?

It’s not as easy as people think it is. You need to have a lot of self love.
