With more than 10 million viewers glued to ABC’s hit television drama Scandal each week
and mulling over tantalizing cliffhangers, there hasn’t been this much buzz about a show
since the world pondered, “Who shot J.R.?” on Dallas in 1980. Fans can’t seem to get
enough of Scandal’s political intrigue, shocking plot twists and complicated love triangles,
prompting Oprah to make a special visit to the set to see what all the fuss was about.
She discovered that most of the fascination centers on the show’s star, Kerry Washington,
and confided to the actress that she had to start watching Scandal because it completely
dominated thousands of Twitter conversations every Thursday night.
