Ayurvedic Approaches to Fatigue

yurveda is a healing system that originated in northern
India over 5,000 years ago, primarily from one of the
Vedic texts, the ancient books of wisdom and ceremony that
contributed a great deal to the foundation of Indian culture
and civilization. According to the Ayurvedic principles, being
“healthy” is a state of vigor and energy which is achieved
by balance and moderation in food intake, sleep and other
activities of daily life, complemented by a wide variety
of plant-based ingredients.
Fatigue is a term used to describe prolonged tiredness and
serious lack of energy. Of course, we all experience some
degree of tiredness from today’s hectic world. Usually, a good
night’s sleep will fix this temporary form of fatigue. But when
