themselves or their dogs – and we have similar
services, complaints and challenges. It’s so nice
to have someone to call and say, ‘You’re not going
to believe what happened today,’ and chances are,
she’s dealt with something similar.
“We have the beautiful ability to be frank
and call it what it is, because we are friends,”
Amanda added. “Not everyone in business can
do that. It’s an unspoken place of love between
friends, because you listen and receive the advice
differently when it comes from a friend.”
That mutual support upholds each woman as
they grow their business, but it’s the friendship and
outreach to each other that solidifies their success.
When Amie opened her salon, she became
certified in NDR (natural beaded row) hair
extensions and is one of the only certified stylists
in a several-state region to offer the service. When
