y bus we drive through enormous lava field and green countryside towards the small and beautiful communities in the Uppsveiti r area. On a farm we are met by the lovely goats, horses and
other farm animals. You will have the choice of a guided walk or a ride on the amazing Icelandic Horse along the beautiful banks of the mighty glacial river Þjórsá. At Skaftholt farm we learn
about growing organic vegetables with the help of geothermal water and taste the wonderful cheese produced from organic milk. At Þjórsárdalur Valley we will visit the Viking sites of the area
together with its its beautiful waterfalls, the pseudocraters and basalt columns.
