Launched in 2013 by Dr. Joshua Landy, this mobile app has
been call social media for the medical community. Through
the app, professionals can discover, share and engage
about cases. The platform’s HIPPA-compliant messaging
allows colleagues to communicate directly. In 2015 the
company hit the 1 billion mark for cases viewed and today
they have more than 500,000 medical professionals
using the app. The company aims to aid in viewing
rare conditions, supporting innovative treatments and
supporting global education and training.

300 airports worldwide - more than Uber or
Lyft. Blacklane was founded by Jens Wohltorf
and Frank Steuer in 2011, two traveling
professionals looking to create a global
professional driver service that offered an
affordable, reliable and efficient way to book
and manage rides. They recently partnered
with leaders in the travel industry including
Amadeus, Expedia, Hertz, and Finnair.
