After awhile, I realized that I needed to expand and eventually that led me to opening a brewing and bottling space.” On what separates her tea from competitors “It’s hand-brewed in huge steepers and bottled with care. It’s also produced the sweet tea using hibiscus, rose hips, and peppermint leaves, giving it a red color and a smoother, fruitier taste.” On her experience competing on Queen Boss “Although I’m grateful, I didn’t go on the show just in hopes of winning the $25,000 prize; a small, growing business will eat that up in no time. I took the opportunity because I really wanted to just see if I could do it. We had no idea what we were getting into.
