A Grade II listed , former harbourmaster residence .
The hotel offers rooms across four types , including the Madona Suite , with a super king bed , free standing bath , shower , TV / DVD and simply charming window overlooking the bay .
For dinner , as you may have guessed , you could expect seafood dishes such as pan-fried scallops , cauliflower purée and crisp Serrano ham to start , followed by Pan roast fillet of monkfish , aubergine caviar , tomato tortellini and charred courgette for main ( meat eaters are well catered for too ).
The hard-working team provide good local food and drink in an excellent atmosphere . The Harbourmaster advise booking ahead for evenings in the restaurant .
