Carve Sharp turn on the wave
Cutback Turn performed on the flats or in the shoulder of the wave in order to get back on to the surf line
Ding A crack , hole or fracture on the surfboard
Drop in To get in the right of way of a surfer who is already riding a wave
Froth Excited , amped or stoked
Goofy foot A surfer who rides with their right leg forward
