to go overseas to Monterrey, Mexico;
A couple of years ago I had the opportunity thousands of people. Monterrey is a
place completely and utterly impoverished by
located in eastern Mexico, towards the coast. I went there for a week and help serve in
the communities there. I spent three months raising the money, and the entire time I
was beyond excited that I was finally getting to go on a mission trip. Well, those three
months went by rather quickly and I eventually found myself sitting on the plane,
scared to death. I had no idea what Mexico would be like, and I wasn’t even with any of
my friends; what if something happened to me?
