Seven exhibition facts you may not know about the Doha Exhibition & Convention Center 1- Agriteq, Qatar’s leading agriculture and agri-food show organised by IFP Group, grew by 50% in space in 2018 and further growth is expected for its next edition in March 2019. 2- Doha Jewellery and Watch Exhibition (DJWE) attracted around 24,000 visitors in 2018, an increase of around 25% compared with 2017. Some exhibitors recorded +30% in sales, versus last year. 3- DJWE organised by Auditoire, is the leading watches and Jewellery exhibition in the Middle East. 4- Heya, which is considered the leading Arabian Fashion Show in the region attracts up to 400 exhibitors and has drawn up to 16,000 visitors, which is a 15% increase on 2017. 5- Big 5, which was launched by dmg in September attracted 200+ exhibitors on 12,000sqm. 6- Cityscape Qatar (Qatar’s leading real estate show) organised by Informa and Elan Qatar, grew its visitors by 129% and increased space by 8% in 2018, compared with 2017. 7- According to Milipol Qatar Committee (organised by Comexposium & Ministry of Interior in Qatar), this year’s event will be the largest ever in terms of participation of ministerial delegations, subject experts and companies.
