Judges’ comments: Judges said this was a close
run thing but Matthew’s greater commercial acumen
gave him the nod. Maelstrom have shown an
incredible amount of creativity and diversity in their
work and deserved the win.
Background: Expanding from four events in 2006 to
40 in 2018, the Maelstrom Events team work tirelessly
across established and launch events, with large and
independent organisers.
