CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE
I
recently read that around 92% of the world’s exhibitions are
not owned by one of the major organisers. That’s a stunning
statistic, and one that’s easy to forget when the organising
giants dominate the headlines.
As I said at our fantastic launch event on 2 November, it
can often be these same organisers that dominate award
ceremonies, and it was a privilege to provide a platform
for the UK’s independent organisers to compete on a level
playing field with the EN Indy Awards.
All the winners in this book are truly exceptional, working
with small teams and limited budgets to create unique and
exciting events.
Congratulations to everyone who was shortlisted, the
judges had some really tough decisions which just further
highlights the quality of the entries.
