30 UNDER THIRTY Rachel Gregory Diversified Communications, Sales Manager “Rachel sees the exhibition industry as one that she will be working in for the rest of her career. Her passion is to one day have the opportunity to speak and present and share her knowledge and experience within the events industry. She is a natural at networking, as well as building and developing relationships, whether it is within her own industry or the sector she works in.” In five years’ time: I see myself as being a role model in the events and sales field, running seminars and training courses that will inspire the young and hungry. The next step for progression will be event manager or event director, heading of a team of four or more and I will have launched an international show. Bethany Heath 11 Upper Street Events, Exhibition Manager “Beth works on the New Designers exhibition, which unites the designers of tomorrow with the trade, trend-spotters and industry leaders of today. She oversees the shows exhibitors through the sales, account management and exhibitor communications. Beth’s invaluable skill set ensures the longevity, growth and success of the event. She has an incredible work ethic and strives to deliver the highest customer service and account management.” In five years’ time: I hope to continue to work alongside an innovative and determined team to deliver events that bring all levels of the design industry together and ensure that the industry continues to thrive. Mitchell Ingram CloserStill Media, Show Manager “When Alex, the ED for the British Dentistry Show, was expecting her second child, Mitchell was the obvious choice to cover her maternity leave. With a young and inexperienced team below Mitchell this meant we needed to fast-track his development. He was quite literally a knowledge sponge and instantly made the transition from salesman to brand custodian. Working with Mitchell is an absolute pleasure, if I could clone him, I would!” In five years’ time: I’ve never have had a five-year-plan. I instead like to think opportunities will come my way if I show I’m hard- working and motivated, and so far that’s proved true. exhibitionnews.co.uk | 2018
