NEWS BR IEFING Keep up-to-date with the latest news surrounding the role of the PA First round of Executive PA Summits a success The first round of Executive PA Summits in 2019 has been an unqualified success, as the Executive PA Media team looks toward hosting a second round later this year. Held in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Auckland, the events welcomed EAs, expert speakers and suppliers for a day of professional development and business meetings. The unique, tailored platform of the event has continued to attract both delegates and suppliers, with rave reviews. Laura Brown, PA to the Director of Care at Banfields Aged Care, attended the Melbourne Executive PA Summit in early February.“It was absolutely worth the time spent there and I look forward to seeing what else the Executive PA Media team has to offer,” Laura said. Catherine Keys, Events Manager at Executive PA Media, is responsible for organising and facilitating the Summits. She is looking forward to delivering another successful round of events later this year. “The first round of Executive PA Summits has been a huge success. S Nominations open for 2019 Executive PA Awards Nominations for the 2019 Executive PA Awards have opened, welcoming applications from EAs, executives and business leaders from across the globe. The Awards, which take place on 5 September at Doltone House Hyde Park in Sydney, are the oldest and most established awards in the executive support industry. Nominees can put themselves, a colleague or their boss forward for recognition in a number of categories including EA of the Year Australasia, Best Organised Event, Up & Coming EA of the Year, Business Leader of the Year and many more. Natalie Kennefick, EA to the Head of Mass Markets at Optus and winner of Up & Coming PA of the Year 2018, said the award is a validation of her work, and recognition of EA’s tireless efforts. “The award has brought to light what EA’s do and that we deserve to be recognised for our work, just like others within an organisation.
