First round of Executive PA Summits a success
The first round of Executive
PA Summits in 2019 has been an
unqualified success, as the Executive
PA Media team looks toward hosting
a second round later this year. Held
in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and
Auckland, the events welcomed EAs,
expert speakers and suppliers for a
day of professional development and
business meetings.
The unique, tailored platform of
the event has continued to attract
both delegates and suppliers, with
rave reviews. Laura Brown, PA to the
Director of Care at Banfields Aged Care,
attended the Melbourne Executive
PA Summit in early February.“It was
absolutely worth the time spent there
and I look forward to seeing what else
the Executive PA Media team has to
offer,” Laura said.
Catherine Keys, Events Manager
at Executive PA Media, is responsible
for organising and facilitating the
Summits. She is looking forward to
delivering another successful round of
events later this year.
“The first round of Executive PA
Summits has been a huge success.
The events have run very smoothly,
and we’ve had great feedback from
the attendees,” Catherine said. “I’m
very much looking forward to the next
round of Summits, and to growing this
fantastic platform.”
The next Executive PA Summits take
place in Melbourne on 17 September,
and Sydney on 24 September. Visit

Nominations open for 2019 Executive PA Awards
Nominations for the 2019 Executive
PA Awards have opened, welcoming
applications from EAs, executives and
business leaders from across the globe.
The Awards, which take place on
5 September at Doltone House Hyde
Park in Sydney, are the oldest and most
established awards in the executive
support industry. Nominees can put
themselves, a colleague or their boss
forward for recognition in a number
of categories including EA of the Year
Australasia, Best Organised Event, Up
& Coming EA of the Year, Business
Leader of the Year and many more.
Natalie Kennefick, EA to the Head of
Mass Markets at Optus and winner of
Up & Coming PA of the Year 2018, said
the award is a validation of her work,
and recognition of EA’s tireless efforts.
“The award has brought to light
what EA’s do and that we deserve to
be recognised for our work, just like
others within an organisation. We
are often overlooked for recognition
as we don’t have a direct (or visible)
impact on sales or the bottom line,
and the award has shown that we are
an integral part to our organisations,”
Natalie said.
Nominations close on 30 June, visit
